Enphase Envoy Communications Gateway
The Enphase Envoy Communications Gateway is the networking hub for the Enphase Microinverter System.
System owners can easily check the status of their solar system using the Envoy’s LCD display or they can get detailed performance information through Enlighten®, Enphase’s web-based monitoring and analysis software, included with purchase of Envoy.
The Envoy communicates with each Enphase microinverter via a power line carrier signal passed through the AC wiring. One Envoy can communicate with up to 500 microinverters.
The Envoy can be plugged directly into an internet modem via the supplied ethernet cable, or the connection to the internet can be made via an Enphase PLC Ethernet Bridge.

The AC surge protector is connected to the AC cabling of SolarEdge and Enphase inverters. The AC surge protector reduces faults in inverters, and other electrical appliances caused by electrical surges on the AC cabling of the solar system.
