Enphase Energy was founded in March 2006 by Raghu Belur and Martin Fornage in California USA. In June 2008, Enphase Energy introduced the worlds first microinverter system and by September 2011 had reached a major milestone of shipping one million microinverters. In December 2011 Enphase went global reaching France and Italy and other countries followed soon after. In March 2012, Enphase Energy was listed on the NASDAQ and in July 2013 introduced the fourth generation technology and the M250 microinverter.
