Our blue-chip customers include some of Australia’s largest and most respected solar retail businesses.  Our administration office with local distribution centres are located in Cairns & Melbourne, and we distribute throughout Australia and New Zealand from warehouses in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland and Christchurch.

Yet it’s our expertise and our incredible team that has driven our growth and success within the Solar Industry. AC Solar Warehouse is 100% Australian and employee owned. AC Solar Warehouse constantly strives to be the most professional and supportive solar wholesaler in Australia and New Zealand and our team are core to achieving and upholding this.

About the Role:

Each year, AC Solar Warehouse purchases, stores and despatches to our customers hundreds of thousands of individual items of solar equipment from 8 locations across Australia and New Zealand.  Items range from bulky and fragile solar panels to bundles of 4.7m long aluminium rails right through to individual nuts and bolts.

Our logistics team currently comprises 5 dedicated staff, including Logistics, Freight, and Warehouse Officers. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our team in Cairns and seeking a passionate, driven individual to lead, motivate, and inspire the logistics team to achieve our high standards of quality and efficiency.

You will supervise and support warehouse and logistics staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to established procedures. Building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with freight and courier partners will be key to ensuring reliable, cost-effective service. You’ll also work closely with third-party warehousing and logistics teams in 6 other locations, as well as sales, operations, and procurement teams, to align logistics performance with broader business needs.

This is a newly created position designed to bring increased focus to our logistics functions and raise our practices to industry-leading standards. It offers the opportunity to evaluate and improve our current logistics processes and systems—enhancing accuracy, delivery times, customer experience, and cost control. You will also drive innovation by identifying software improvements and contributing to ongoing system development, while attending logistics conferences and visiting our major warehouses to strengthen relationships and drive continuous improvement.
