    About the Role:

    Our Engineering & Account Management team currently consists of 10 professional Electrical Engineers ranging in experience from graduates to respected industry veterans, and we’re expanding our team to support the continued rapid growth of our business.  We’re looking for a positive, talented Electrical Engineer to provide support to the Engineering and Account Management team in the design, documentation, supply, installation and after sales support of solar power systems, solar distribution boards and related products. This includes activities such as preparing schematic diagrams, assisting with quoting design of domestic and commercial systems and switchboards, preparing engineering reports, reviewing installation compliance issues and other administrative functions aligned to engineering. Registration as a RPEQ Professional Engineer (or eligibility to obtain registration in future) is a requirement for this role.

    You’ll have a track record of fast learning and achievement in an electrical related field as we’re looking for someone who can quickly progress to becoming a product technical expert and advisor in their own right – developing detailed knowledge of Australian and international best practice solar design and investigating and assessing new solar technologies. This is a great opportunity for someone who has excelled in the past, to make their mark in a fast-growing company at the forefront of its industry.

     

     

     

    Selection Criteria:

    • *Bachelor of Electrical or Renewable Engineering or a related discipline. Or almost completed degree – see note below.
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
    • Demonstrated past achievement in academic, personal or professional endeavours.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply engineering expertise to solve problems.
    • Proven ability to work harmoniously, both one-on-one and collaboratively in past roles.

    Our Account Management and Engineering team currently consists of 16 sales and engineering professionals ranging in experience from Electrical Engineering graduates to respected industry veterans, and we’re expanding our team in Cairns to support the continued growth of our business.  We’re looking for an experienced, positive, talented person to help grow our customer base and provide exemplary customer service. This includes activities such as understanding customer needs, providing product advice, advising on the design of domestic and commercial systems and preparing quotes and invoices. Team members are encouraged to pursue and lead the implementation of their own ideas to improve the way we do business and service our customers.

    You’ll have a track record of fast learning and achievement as we’re looking for someone who can quickly progress to becoming a expert and advisor in their own right – developing a detailed knowledge of the products we sell and solar power system design and the industry in general. This is a great opportunity for someone who has excelled in the past, to make their mark in a fast-growing company at the forefront of its industry.
