Can we install the batteries outdoors/in direct sunlight?

What is the IP rating and are there any rules around install location?
Is there a requirements to keep the batteries shaded?

The battery has a IP66 rating for outdoor installation and can be installed 50m from the coast/salt water high tide mark.
It is recommended to install the battery and combiner on a south facing wall or in a well shaded environment. A shade awning may also be used on north/west facing walls.
