Utilities may request Power Quality Testing as part of the connection process. This involves installing a power quality analyser on site after the solar system has been installed and commissioned. The aim is to test the power quality of the grid at the premises to ensure that the solar system is not causing any issues with power quality. Testing is conducted without the solar system switched on to establish a benchmark, and then again with the solar system switched on.

The data is analysed by our in-house electrical engineers and a report provided showing the results and conclusions
