Highlights from Smart Energy Queensland
Aiko Infinite Series Launch
We had the honour of launching Aiko’s most powerful residential all-black panel, the 3rd Generation Infinite Panel, 475 W.
- More power: 475 W (3S) and 485 W (3P), with efficiencies up to 24.3%.
- Sleeker design: InvisiRibbon and ZeroGap deliver a seamless all-black look with no visible busbars or gaps.

Sigenergy Pro Plaques
We showcased our Sigenergy Pro plaques, which received excellent feedback. We’ve now designed version 2 with key improvements:
- PPE hazard icons for arc flash and toxic fumes.
- A customisable spot for your company logo or contact details.
- Laminated SDS sheets and a magnetic document holder for the MSB, making things easier for installers.

SolarEdge & UNSW Research
Doug Meldrum and Ben Cox from SolarEdge joined us to share new UNSW research showing that optimisers can lift panel output by up to 15%. Using a cycling analogy, they broke it down in a way that Alder — our former pro cyclist — could relate to perfectly. They also walked us through SolarEdge’s latest inverter and battery solutions, giving installers a clear picture of how the full system comes together.

CPD Points with David Smyth
David Smyth, one of our co-founders and directors, ran a popular compliance session on switchboards, giving installers 10 CPD points for just 15 minutes of training. Missed it? You can still access his course and the CPD Points through the Smart Installer Institute by the Smart Energy Council. There you’ll also find training sessions on Sigenstack, Sigenstor, and Aiko ABC Technology, with Thomas Bywater, Andrew Klink, Pradeep Anasuri and Stuart Fordyce.
ZYC - Zero Your Carbon
ZYC was also present at Smart Energy Queensland, where Edward Xie ran a CPD-accredited training session that gave installers valuable insights towards their certification. The ZYC Simpo 5000 battery will also be on display at our booth at All Energy Melbourne — we can’t wait to show it!

Heyden Fletcher, from Selectronic introduced us to Selectronic’s upcoming SelectCell River Gum 120 battery, which will officially launch at All Energy Melbourne in October. Make sure you check it out there!
